Traditional guessing games print words on cards, which puts them out of reach for anyone under about seven. In Guessy Kids every puzzle is a large, high contrast illustration that a child recognizes instantly.

Once your child starts reading, turn on text display in settings and the word appears under the picture. It is a natural bridge into reading practice.

The accelerometer tracks how the phone is being held. Tilt down for a correct answer, tilt up to pass. Nobody has to touch the screen, which matters a lot when the phone is balanced on a forehead.

A new tilt only registers once the phone has returned to level, so one long sweep never skips two cards by accident.

The app opens in your phone's language and you can change it any time in settings. The switch applies immediately with no restart.

That makes it a genuinely useful language learning tool: the same familiar picture, but the answer comes out in English, German or Spanish.

Build a deck from your own photos. Choose images from your library, give each one a name, and your personal category is ready. Images are optimized automatically and stay on the device.

Common uses: family members, a child's favorite toys, classmates, or a vocabulary list for a language they are learning.

Rounds run 30 seconds by default. Premium unlocks 45, 60 and 90 second options, which makes a real difference with the youngest players.

You can also make passing cost five seconds. Older kids enjoy the pressure, while for preschoolers it is best left off.
